A working yard, plainly described
Bulukumba Shipyard is a maritime brand of Juara Holding Group, established 2015. We are a regency newbuild-and-refit yard in Bulukumba, South Sulawesi: we commission and build wooden phinisi, yachts and liveaboards, and we haul out, drydock, repair and refit wooden hulls. That is the whole of what we are — a working shipyard, not a brokerage and not a booking desk.
Bulukumba Shipyard is the regency newbuild-and-refit yard brand of Juara Holding Group (established 2015), a sister brand to Komodo Luxury. The yard sits in Bulukumba Regency, South Sulawesi — Butta Panrita Lopi, the land of the Konjo and Bugis panrita lopi master shipwrights who build and restore wooden phinisi hulls, from keel-laying to haul-out.
How the contracts work
The group runs an integrated maritime ecosystem with clearly separated legal entities, so owners always know who they are contracting with. Newbuild, repair, refit and vessel-sale contracts are issued by PT Komodo Galangan Nusantara. Boat-management contracts are issued by PT Komodo Vessel Management. Brokerage, central agency, charter marketing and commercial representation are issued by PT Komodo Bahari Nusantara. Separate contracts, separate fees, separate ledgers — one ecosystem, under Juara Holding Group.
What we do not claim
We are careful about our claims. We are not the official shipyard of Bulukumba Regency and we do not represent the government, any association, or UNESCO. We do not publish fabricated ratings or awards; the only proof we offer is honest facts and the boats themselves. Where we cite heritage — the UNESCO 2017 inscription, Bulukumba as Butta Panrita Lopi — we state it precisely and without embellishment.
Our sister brand
Our closest sister brand is Komodo Luxury, the group’s charter and boat-services arm. When a boat we build goes to work, its charters and professional management are handled there; when an owner needs brokerage or an independent survey, those go to the right desk too. We build and refit hulls; the rest of the journey has its own specialists.
